A future with the man she loves risks her immortality
Most of the supernatural folk Lawless interacts with believe her to be Fae. She never reveals that she is the rarest type now thought extinct; an Omnimorph with the ability to take on any human shape. She is under oath to never bond with someone, plus she is nursing a broken heart as her ex just got married. She therefore thinks the hot steamy night she shares with jaguar shape shifter Kincaid to ease her loneliness is nothing more than a one night stand; however he proves quite difficult to get rid of.
There is plenty of action and magic, but it is the interaction between the lead characters that really hooked me in. Lawless' relationship with her adult sons is entertaining, as is her interaction with her ex-girlfriend (a royal Fae now married to a vampire). There is plenty of heat generated between Lawless and Kincaid whilst the amount of action, magic and romance makes "Faerie Wishes and Jaguar Kisses" an enjoyable read.
